Chiefs draw Arrows in Nedbank Cup

Kaizer Chiefs were drawn against Golden Arrows in the Nedbank Cup Last 32.

“Tough draw but you have to go through the tough teams to win,” remarks coach Steve Komphela.

The draw took place at the Nedbank Headquarters on Monday night. The teams were not seeded and consisted of 16 PSL, 8 NFD and 8 SAFA structures teams.

Chiefs will be looking to add silverware to their trophy cabinet this season.

Steve Komphela and his team have vowed to salvage Amakhosi’s pride by going all out to win the 11th edition of Ke Yona Cup.

“We are happy with the draw. We are looking forward to compete and win the trophy,” says coach Komphela.

Winners of the trophy will walk away with R7million.

Dates and logistics will be announced in due course.
