Last week, comedian Michael Dapaah stepped into BBC Radio 1Xtra’s ‘Fire In The Booth’ and did a performance as ‘MC Quakez’. The video immediately went viral!
Enter 21 year old Africa’s fastest rising Dance Music producer and DJ, Young DLC. The talented producer came across the viral video on a lazy Sundayafternoon and immediately declared he would turn, “The Ting Goes Skrrrrrrrrrah Pap Pap Kak Kak Kak” into a remix that will see Africa in Lagos, Joburg, Nairobi, Accra, Luanda, Harare and the diaspora dancing.
The youthful music maker managed to come up with catching African rhythms that make the whole song sound like he was sitting in the studio with the comedian.
Young DLC, who was also a Coke Studio Africa 2017 in-house producer, is one of Africa’s best producers when it comes to remixes as well as original compositions.
The music marker is based in Pretoria, South Africa where he is studying music. Originally from Zimbabwe, he is working with some of the biggest music stars across Africa.
